Since the release of the 2019 film, the Japanese post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk super series has seen a well-deserved resurgence in everyone's minds and hearts, rekindling the fire in old fans and acquiring new fans worldwide. Prime 1 Studio would like to take you back into the treacherous, futuristic world of the Scrap Iron City that our female cyborg Alita, also named Gally in the original manga series, has to battle through with her past shrouded in mystery.
Our team of talented sculptors and artists have pushed themselves above and beyond once again to bring to life the breathtaking drawing "Fight 001 - Rusty Angel" included in the very first chapter and volume of the manga series, published back in 1990. This emotion-filled statue represents not only our devotion to bringing our loyal fans the absolute best but also our will to make the very creators of the series proud of our work.
About 17 inches tall, Gally gracefully arises from a pile of metal scraps as she spreads her majestic metallic wings. Every feather has been carefully textured, sure to mesmerize any gaze that lay upon them. Sticking to the manga style, we've taken great care in portraying her gentle face with the softest of expressions and features. The upper half of her body is severely damaged, completely exposing the extensive and complex wiring mechanics and metallic joints that our team has sculpted with expertise. The bottom half of her body is still partially damaged, with the skin of the calves and feet gone, exposing the metallic frame underneath. The pile of rubble that she crawls onto is packed with rusted scraps of all sizes and shapes, remnants of what may have once been useful artifacts that have now been discarded by the aerial city of Tiphares above.
